So after trying it, I have to say... ITS IMPOSSIBLE ON A PAD. I mean, I'm good with a pad, very good even, not as good as I am with mouse and keyboard like but I can sit there and not let a pad spoil the fun, but in this game... Good god its impossible...

Anyway, did anybody notice all the weapon models were remade all slightly higher detail?

They've thrown bloom in everywhere as well. Not sure if the textures are actually higher res though?
Game could do with a more interesting campaign, more gamemodes and split-screen multiplayer maybe. Right now it's definitely not worth 1200 MSP.

Textures are all the same res, its just they threw a contrast/sharpen filter over some of them. The weapons look about the same res textures wise, but they had to change them up a tad for the new geo changes on them. The blooms nice too, its not simple bloom its using some kind of filtering, which is why it looks like "stars" rather than "blurs".

Would be nice to see those changes come over to the PC.

Also, the single player on the 360 version is a LOT better than the PC, its just all laid out nicer and feels more like a progression rather than an after thought.

This is true, but still. I wonder if they couldn't have done something more interesting with it. You know, really differentiate between the skill level of individual bots and have the player recruit a clan of bots to play matches against other clans, working your way through various tournaments and leagues. You earn money or XP or something along the way, which allows you to recruit better and more bots to enter more challenging competitions with larger teams and different gametypes and such. Would make for a far more dynamic single player experience than a simple one-by-one progression through maps.

Yeah theres defo a lot more they could have done, and its odd they didn't do much more seeing as they are asking quite a lot for not only a 10 year old game but also a 10 year old FREE game... Very odd...
