This game is what BF2 could have been 2 years ago. But on todays graphics.
The difference is that BF2 was published by EA, I never buy EA games after that.

COD4 is published by Activision, and they have always been good to their games.

The PC version of Call of Duty 4 came out on November 6th in North America, and on November 9th in Europe.

It seems that all the concentration right now is on braking the encryption on the "mpdata" file located in your profile folder. It is the file that stores all your information. Your rank, unlocked weapons and perks, and your costume classes.

I seriously suggest you back it up every day if you also play on moded servers (all unlocked) because there seems to be a bug that wipes your rank (OH OH!!!) So back up.

In the mean time, I found a way to unlock all the weapons, not bad.

The single player is fucked up, it went from my favorite game, to a piece of shit over a course of 2 missions.

It was all good, sort of hard, but not impossible. Until i got to the sniper mission end in Pripiat, Chernobyl. The end fight was fucking nuts. Near impossible. But the next level after it, its fucking insane. Hats of to whomever thought of extending game play, by making a level that you cant pass any other way than pure luck.

I am playing on Veteran, so the game was challenging and not a mindless shoot em up, but this mission if fucked, where you have to escape in a helicopter, but the LZ changes from a farm, to an over run hill side.

Do the designers even try to play trough their own fucking levels?
Fuck it, i'm down with this shit.

lol that running down the hill level was easy as hell. go right.

That helped, I was thinking I was John Rambo, and trying to go straight trough the resistance.

I finished the game, waited till the last 5 seconds to deactivate the nuke, its great, can't wait for the next one.

How many of you have waited till the end of the credits and played the extra level?
That was brilliant, an amazing level, next game needs to concentrate on more of that.
I love how all the team members communicate, man its like you are there.
This is also the first game where your team mates actually shoot and kill enemies.

I love that airplane mission...
