I don't think it makes sense to compare a small studio single player RPG to the most successful MMO in the history of computer games, which is also made by a huge studio with virtually unlimited funds.

yeah; i know :/
but then - maybe they should have made it smaller, focusing more on the details. on the other hand: it sold pretty well, so i guess they did a good job in making some money, right?

Super Noah's Ark 3D
I guess Daikatana is the worst I've played, but I agree that it got a lot better after the first levels and especially the first episode. The graphics especially in the Norway episode is really nice and cozy even today. It's also more fun to play in Co-op because you get rid of the sidekicks which were only part of the problem.
Call of Chtulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth was also a great game. You should play it to the end!
I never got into Halo, but I maybe if i'd stuck it out it it would have been good. I remember being really bored by the repetive gameplay and graphics in the beginning. Of course it's not nearly as bad as Daikatana's beginning.
And yes, I played it when it came out on my brothers X-box.
