In Japan Pot chinese never sell soft drink nor energy drink w/o too much white sugar, caffeine and MSG(Mono Sodium Glutamat).
As some of you mention, they just fake energization by ultra-overstimulating nerves.
So real energy drink should never contain them, which is impossible to purchase, resulting in DIY(Do It Yourself).

Never tried those half liter cans thats just too much. I like a red bull once in while. Usually coffee though.

I usually head to the local coffee shop and order 4 shots of espresso then mix a tablespoon of sugar and top it off with some 2% milk.
