Where I live, there is this thing called "The Cruise". It happens every month, and the basic gist of it is that dickheads all meet in the mcdonalds car park and rev their engines for about 6 hours before going home and declaring the night a complete success. Outside the mcd's, there is about 400 meters of straight road that all of them race down. Most of them are driving little ricecan type-r's that sound like they're about to take off. Several times I've been caught next to them in the lights, on my way home from wherever I've been.

Several times I've left them in my dust. Fucking vspec. Vorsprung durch Technik, bitches :olo:

edit: what killed it for me on this car was the panoramic mirrors on the side mirrors. all it needs now is a 'my kid is an honor student' bumper sticker
that photo taken on I-10 near Pensacola?

With handling mods and all the extra power, it would be interesting to see who won on a track, it should be pretty damn close. After all, we're not talking about a Mustang GT here or some other useless-in-a-bend american car, lol.
Do you EVER tire of saying stupid things? A Corvette Z06 that can pull over a full lateral G is useless in a bend? Jesus, just shut the fuck up already. You've proven time and again that you have NO FUCKING IDEA what you're talking about.
The new Z06 and the Ford GT are pretty much the only american cars that can handle, so they are exceptions. Got any other ones?
i'll talk in terms of cars you understand.
the '04 svt Focus beat the '04 civic Si at willow springs race track by almost a full second when R&T tested them.

There are plenty of Audi S3's in America and canada, but you might miss them if you're in a honda. Look about 300 yards in front of you, they usually hover around that area.

The dude shifted twice in the short little time they were "racing" meaning he was more than likely in first gear. The guy driving the BMW either didnt shift at all or has an automatic. Not to mention the fact that the video is shot from the losing vehicle but still made it on the internet...
yeah and then the cameraman starts laughing right before it cuts out.

Toxic: they were not racing.

That is my car in the video. I'm sorry, but I can't read all of the French replies. Yes, that was an M3. Yes, he had downshifted. Yes, he did get on it.

for fucks sakes, read that thread. Lots of people thought they weren't racing. That ITR has 231whp, it probably runs mid-high 12's, OF COURSE it can demolish a stock M3. Btw, Bitwise, there are no automatic E46 M3's, that one was SMG.
SMG = Sequential Manual Gearbox.
its a flappy-paddle enabled automatic.
it is NOT a manual

The EJ6 was my second car and my dad bought it for me without asking me first. My first car was a manual MX-3 (which was my own choice) and my current car is a manual Sentra (which ones my own choice, again). Any questions?
