Don't worry, I'm on DSL now :)

Things are settling down a little now so updates should be coming. And hopefully upLOADS too...

The 2 maps I was attempting to upload were Q4hexdm1 and Storm4dm1.
Both linked for download from my website.
1st attempt I had nothing in description (like all others I uploaded)
Now it asks me for some info.
I tried adding author info, and then just map name ...
both times I enter info into that box I get that error.

Since we just got our other ET server running again ...
I want to switch my 2nd one back to Q4.
I am debating running RA4 or Instagib.
I will be happy to link maps from the autodownload site
to see how it all works.
I am also still learning alot about q4, and the configs.
Don't quite get the needed time anymore :/

Thanks for downloading the map. :) Hold off on sending it out any more tho - if you don't mind. I've been working on its re-release and plan to send it out this weekend.

I put it out very early in q4 history and the re-release is to add the addon.conf now that we know what that's about. And it got a bunch of monsterclipping so the sabot plays it a lot better. Fixed a few other little buggy things and added a hipshot sky. So, not to discourage uploading my map, but a new version is imminent. I'll put it up there at files.quake4world.com for sure. :)

well for what it's worth .... it was one of my favorites too !
I will await a new release, and replace my copy with the newer one ;)
I have always been a HUGE custom map fan !
Standard maps get old quick ...
I never learned to make maps ... always appreciated the work one
must put into creating one tho ... and very much appreciate the effort,
design, and imagination one must have to create.

Thanks :)
