I called Dell today and after a bit of hassle they said all they could give me was an additional $75.00 off of the 2405, since I had made my purchase less than 21 days ago. The rebate I got was 22% off, deducting $264.00. This new rebate is 35% off, deducting $419.00. The difference being $155.00. But I figure since I already spent $25.00 to ship it to me and I'll have to spend another $25.00 to ship it back, I'd only save $30.00 by going through the additional bullshit. So I think I'll just take the extra $75.00 off and be done with it. :icon32:

Ordering from Dell is great. It's only when you have to deal with the other assholes in returns/refunds that you want to shoot some idiot in the face. Even after pointing out to them that I could send back my LCD (sticking them with a used 24" LCD), order a brand new one and save money, they still said that policy wouldn't allow them to give me more than $75.00 back. What a bunch of stupid fucks. I'm almost tempted to send mine back just to be a bigger asshole.

Do it :)
[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.

Its worth it..

You know they wont make you pay shipping, youll get MORE money back, AND youll get a crisp new monitor.. and lets not forget the pain in the ass of them taking it back, refurbing it, and losing more money on it having to sell it as "used"

How is that hassle worth $30?

You must have nothing to do with your time to think that's so.

It's really not.

If I did this it'd be purely based on principles.
