Recent multiplayer titles?

Hey...

what are the current games to play? I'm looking for rather simple entertainment - a good, quick strategy game would be cool. some flight simulator (arcade) maybe? an easy deathmatch fps - but i think q3 will do the job...

the point is that our lan tomorrow will have people of totally mixed gaming skills so we need stuff everone can enjoy.

Strategy: Stronghold 2 or Act of war:direct action

Flight sim: MS flight simulator 3 or Lockon

Easy deathmatch fps: Serious sam or Painkiller

Tip on awsome lan games:
Motorcross madness 2
Operation flashpoint GOTY pack
Quake 3
Swat 4 co-op part

So far we've got:

-Q3 (obviously... it'd be a shame not to have this game installed)
-Painkiller
-Empire Earth I + II (Stupid game with loads of flaws in the gamedesign... )
-Warcraft 3 ( there is to much skill needed... at least if i'm in the game)
-Trackmania Sunrise (loads of fun, i think :icon19: )

Ok SWAT 4. Is it any good? Because I... I got it, the other day, and I have no idea if its even any good

I can host a server or something sometime and we can play a few rounds.. its good shit co-op assuming you have teamspeak.. ke, ke..

Dawn of War is a great LAN game. Easy to learn, quick and fun. Better than Warcraft 3 if people haven't played it.

Last time we played that game on a LAN our match lasted for 6 hours.
