The dream within the dream within the dream within the dream within the dream within the dream.

And remember...when you've spent an eternity in a dream within a dream within a dream within a dream within a dream and you wake up...the very first thought that goes through your head after realizing you've come back to reality is "make a phone call" to keep a promise to someone I barely recall.

Well, when Leo's face is the last thing you see before you wake up, how could you forget?

skipped through and watched about 10 minutes of it, his enthusiasm is impressive - but i still think inception was kind of boring and overwrought.

negro please

it was a great movie. maybe it didn't match up in every aspect to its ambition but at least it *had* some ambition, which is more than can be said for 99.9999% of the shitslurry puked up by hollywood every year

I gotta admit.. it's pretty cool the whole soundtrack is modification of one song that's relevant to the movie as a whole.

Dark city was impressive in a similar way because the soundtrack starts at the start of the movie and without interrruption continues throughout the whole movie but it's not noticable.

No, it was good because it was original and the visuals were interesting.

the subconscious deals within the dreams, so leaving your conscious intact? so once you wake, you don't forget what you ate last night.

I had a dream that felt like I went through a 10 year period of my life, and then I just woke up...forgot pretty much the entire dream, but didn't forget anything from reality.

That was the main, "oh cool" moment for me in the clip. Going to have to watch the movie again keeping all this in mind. When I first saw it, I didn't really try to look deeper and it left me unimpressed (like a lot of people).

Yeah... it didn't grab me as much as Dark City did. I've watched that movie like a dozen times, great flick if you've never watched it and in a similar vein as Inception.

I'm gonna have to re-watch inception though, I'm pretty curious, I was fairly sure he was in the real world at the end of the movie but I agree with what this guy has to say about the movie.

Dark City was shit.
Thick, solid and tight in all the right places.
