First time wakeboarding today... took about 6 tries to be able to come out of the water, then i was fine going straight. Then a few more falls figuring out how to turn, followed by a few more falls staying steady enough to go outside the wake and back in, and that was that :)
im no georff, trust me

next time i'll figure how to switch footing so my one arm isn't destroyed while my other is fine

Unfortunately, I have to agree, Scourge. You know better.

Where do you live andyman?

We've got the extended winter from hell here...one 70 degree day then a week of freezing, then another 65 degree day and now another week of shit...i'm out spraying aerosols into the air to try and warm things up. Looks like you never have bad weather wherever you're at.

TAMPA :) :) it's always great here! It was sunny all last week and saturday, so the water was quite nice. The top 15" of water was nice and warm, below that there was some cooler pockets but it wasn't nearly as bad as the week before. That is on Lake Tarpon, freshwater lake btw

that was right after i got out of the water. later i tried to go outside the wake right away like that, but that big splash of water in the picture caught the board and bucked me straight over on mah face bone. ouch.

IMO the snow and hail here the last couple of weeks is due to global climate change, it's definitely not normal for this area.
