oh right, i'd get so much use out of an awkward moving q3 that appears to not be able to shoot up or down. the touch has no buttons, eh? so you cant strafe or anything useful.

I am really enjoying my Touch. I use it to d/l podcasts. It is my first Apple product and they have designed an amazing product. I may go iMac next. Can you play Q3 on the apple OS?

Does the iPod touch support full 3rd party software? I thought the iPhone only supported in-browser software.

Jailbroken iphones support whatever stuff the geeks produce; although it's largely for the I-installed-Linux-on-my-toaster crowd. Not done it to my iPhone for fear of bricking it.

Apparently in germany the iPhone just got dropped to 99 Euros, which is about $150 in australian dollars (which is about the same in US dollars atm), and they're crackable so they can be used as normal without the phone functions. (they haven't been able to unlock from provider yet though).

I want one so bad
