I went for a job interview near Seatlle... *ahem*. I was there in February one year and it rained all the time I was there (nine days). The company even pointed out to me that it rained there less than in New York City.
Coming from England, I thought it rained more in Seattle than on the Irish coast :-D
Yeah, it does rain there alll the time. I had a friend that lived there for a few years, she said on the first sunny day after winter, everybody cuts work, calls in sick with some lame excuse or whatever they have to do to get the day off and go outside, that's how desperate they are for sunshine.
San Diego IS a shithole. Huge Navy base, MCRD San Diego, very expensive to live there, mexicans, fuck that shit.
Charlotte's nice enough, except that it's in the middle of fucking Jesusland. I plan on either heading back to New England or to Colorado or the Pacific Northwest. Montana is fantastic, also.
