I've finally been able to say I am comfortable with the controller. It's taken over a year. At first I was in denial and using the mouse and keyboard while playing Halo 2 on the original xbox. but when I got the 360 there was no option for that. It took allot of patience, but with great benefit. Now I don't need to spend $400 on upgrades every time a new game comes out :)

Are there plans to make a device to use a mouse with the 360 or is MS preventing that?

I was about the same way, except I basically totally skipped Halo. I played it once against one of my cousins who was 15 at the time. He raped me as I was pointing out I needed a keyboard and mouse for this shit.

I finally got used to the controller while playing GRAW.

I hear ya. The only other console fps I played before GRAW was Metriod Prime. It takes a while to get use to it...but once youve played awhile it becomes second nature like a mouse...you dont even have to think about it. Youve definantly got it down, I witnessed your headshots firsthand the other night :olo:

All flaming aside, what is the key to aiming with a controller? I must be doing something wrong. :icon27:

I jack the sensativity down with all my games then adjust up slowly as I get used to them. It allows me to aim better, then aim faster :)

there are two, one in your Xbox profile accessable in the dashboard for games like GRAW that do not have sensitivity settings.

GOW has on in the controller setup in the game. I am unsure if this setting is affected by the Dashboard setting though....

you must not have very good hand-eye coordination.

You can't aim as quickly, but this game doesn't require the kind of fast mouse action that a game like quake does.

Co-op is only 2 player, but the way it's implemented is flawless.

Start a game in single player and if your buddy loges in just send an invite and he pops in as DOM without any re-loading on your end.

Start a public co-op match and some random person joins and plays with you. It's pretty sweet.

It's not your fault that you suck at it. Don't worry there are many like you, we slaughter them all the time.
