It's like trying to run in sandals vs. proper running shoes. You need the right equipment to enjoy the activity.
I've finally been able to say I am comfortable with the controller. It's taken over a year. At first I was in denial and using the mouse and keyboard while playing Halo 2 on the original xbox. but when I got the 360 there was no option for that. It took allot of patience, but with great benefit. Now I don't need to spend $400 on upgrades every time a new game comes out

I was about the same way, except I basically totally skipped Halo. I played it once against one of my cousins who was 15 at the time. He raped me as I was pointing out I needed a keyboard and mouse for this shit.
I finally got used to the controller while playing GRAW.

I hear ya. The only other console fps I played before GRAW was Metriod Prime. It takes a while to get use to it...but once youve played awhile it becomes second nature like a mouse...you dont even have to think about it. Youve definantly got it down, I witnessed your headshots firsthand the other night

you must not have very good hand-eye coordination.
You can't aim as quickly, but this game doesn't require the kind of fast mouse action that a game like quake does.

It's not your fault that you suck at it. Don't worry there are many like you, we slaughter them all the time.
