Minging...

Post by Geebs »

is how I feel right now. Any time in the future, if any of you feels the urge to go and tell your doctor that you've got a cold/flu, please do him a favour and poke yourself in the eye with a sharp stick instead.

This has been a public service announcement. I now intend to crawl off into a corner and feel sorry for myself.

That's kind of how I feel when people call me up and say, "The toner is low - everything still looks good, but I don't know, maybe I should change it..." and on and on.

Especially when they call me over to their office with no explanation and say the same thing.

People who go to the doctor because they have a little cold really have no need to do so. >:E

I get some small comfort from the fact that the stupid bastards all want antibiotics and I never give any out :D

A typical doctor whining about his patients thread with a bonus IT worker throwing his "horror" stories in... YAY!!!

Dare I say IT? This is a stereo-typical rant??

But I do agree about the over use of antibiotics and there is nothing here that user fees wouldn't cure.

I have to be just about dead before I'll take anything or go see a doctor. I see no reason wasting their time or mine on something that will probably fix itself given enough time.

When a man has a cold, it's a cold; when a woman has a cold, it's flu.

Hmm, after starting this thread I crawled into bed and hallucinated for 8 hours. Fortunately, being a nerd, I hallucinated about Halo.

You're forgetting the good times that come with being med/pre-med my man, I had a friend who thought he had breast cancer because earlier in the day I told him it's possible for men to get it. He went to the uni health services twice and got felt up by an old man. Now he won't admit he has any need to ever get checked up even with a mole the size of a throw-rug that moves from his back to his arm and back again daily. :L
