You don't need to think in stereotypes to think about the prevalent stereotyping which occurs among your countrymen. Perhaps Australia could use a Bill of Rights more than you'd like to believe. Depending on the disposition of a society, a Bill of Rights could secure freedoms that would otherwise be incrementally ceded to the government in pursuit of ever illusive comfort and safety.Law wrote: I prefer not to think in stereotypes.
Then again, this is just the opinion of one leb.
You do need to think in stereotypes to label an entire country with a stereotypical opinion such as yours. There are much deeper seeded issues that need to be addressed in vastly different ways than a simple Bill of Rights (which would try to justify rights to a country as a whole, rather than the correct application of looking at such a multiple identity country on an individual basis).
It's unfortunate that when racial tensions and problems can not seem to be resolved and spill over into a violent display of nothing more than dickheads vs dickheads it leads to uneducated opinions and assumptions from people such as yourself who have zero experience in the matter and can only base their unfounded conclusions upon what the media tells them.
