She's a "star" in this one. The film apparently revolves around herself and wolverine.

They're also killing off Cyclops, Prof. X, and bringing back Jean as the Phoenix and subsequently killing her off too.
Nightcrawler will not be in this film as well as it would have been "too confusing to have three blue characters.".
Looks like it's ramping up to be complete shit.

My thoughts exactly. Although, Beast was a physicist or some shit, wasn't he? I can see someone like Kelsey Grammer in that role, just not him.

Kelsey Grammer is a very good casting call for the role actually.

"We want this to look and feel different from the first two," Foster says.

The look and feel of the first two was half of what made them so good. :icon27:

I think Kelsey Grammer could be a good pick for Beast. He was a brainy character when he wasn't climbing walls and crushing stuff. I just hope he can pull off the physical parts.

But this isn't exactly sounding like what I was hoping for so far. Also didn't see any mention of Juggernaut or Sentinels.

Guess I'll have to wait for the trailer to judge it.

Juggernaut is in it. Vinnie Jones is playing him. I'm not sure about any sentinels though.

I think it'd be awesome if they could fill out the Phoenix story and then go from there (for the next 20 movies that is). There was also a comic made thousands of years ago where DC and Marvel teamed up with Phoenix and some hard lookin cunt as the bad guy to "destroy the universe" or some shit. That'd be a cool movie.

Killing Prof X? WTF? I don't recall him getting offed during the Phoenix story.

They're making a Wolverine movie apparently. Hugh Jackman is the man for that part (if it ain't broke don't fix it). I hope they follow the stories of Wolverine's jaunts to Japan and shit....otherwise it'll probably blow.

Vinnie Jones is probably a good pick.

Yea, I can't believe they're killing off the professor either. What are the X-Men without Professor X?

This is the one I'm talking about. Hell...maybe they could make a Teen Titans series spin off. Then Robin could fully explore his hom0sexuality.

Fuck. 1982 when I read that. I'm older than Moses and Kracus' urge to post personal problems on the internet.

Beast is looking great. Good casting imo.

I'd take any deaths with a pinch of salt though aswell as Storm being a central character.

I think he'll pull it off, it was just a bit of a shock at first. I still think that Henry Rollins would have been a better choice for Wolverine than Huge Jackoffman.

Lol! I used to own that issue. I was collecting X-Men, Daredevil, and a few others back in the day, most notably Groo the Barbarian.

Yea, the Wolverine spinoff has some great potential.

I never would have thought about Henry Rollins as Wolverine, but now that it's been mentioned - Damn that would be awesome. :olo:

Still, I think Hugh Jackman does a great job playing the part.

Jackman does a fair job, but he's too tall, and there's no way he could bring the same brooding intensity to the role that Rollins would.
All things Rollins exhibit a strong degree of ownage.

Jackman is doing a great job but Rollins definitely would have owned that role.

Man, I had my sound up after just finishing a movie. I think my heart skipped a beat when I hit the little arrow and the sound effect played. :dork:

Kelsey Grammar as the Beast could go either way, although I'll have a hard time shaking Frazier Crane out of my head when watching.
