versions? no, these two new ones replace the non-video 20gb and 40gb versions.
basically, this is all you have:
shuffle
nano
ipod

Actually, these new video iPods will replace all older iPods. Go here,
http://www.apple.com/ipod/
and you'll that there are only three lines of iPods out there now, shuttle, <stike>mini</strike> [no you fucking idiot it's the nano, and you even own one of those for christ sake], and regular.

you're talking about the history of Apple's DAP's, not the current line-up.

Two hours on a full charge (I assume that's the 60GB model, so the 30 is probably around 80-90 minutes.)

These tech specs weren't up earlier when i checked for battery life. not sure where you got yoru numbers psyche, but they're not correct:
video for both 30Gb and 60Gb is up to 3 hours. it looks like these numbers are derived from using h.264 @ 768kbps with 128kbps audio.

When it comes to video, though, my Palm has just as good a battery life, plenty of storage, and widescreen.

Who the fuck wants to watch videos on a 2.5 inch screen? Seriously....anyone? Anyone?
"Well...if you stick the iPod 1 inch from your face it looks like a big, shitty, grainy projection tv!"
Whatever.
