"We're working on Dungeon Siege right now, and we have a great script for Far Cry done already and we're hoping to go into production next year. We're looking for the star right now. I'm sure we'll get a big star … I'm hoping for The Rock."

please...no..no..NOOOOOO!!

"Most of his films have been rated between two and four out of 10 by users of the Internet Movie DataBase. The respected on-line film resource also reports one of his less glamorous nicknames to be "The Master of Error.""

umm...yep.

I'm about to buy my own fucking camera and film the Metal Gear Solid movie. For fucks sake, it's been waiting almost a decade now.

i'm surprised no one's announced their intention to make a HL2 movie machinima-style using the game itself. peeps could make movies of a lot of stuff that way

Why would anybody make a movie about Dungeon Siege?

I want HL2 made into a movie...

What director and what actors/actresses would you want in it?
I would like to see alyssa milano or Lucy liu as Alyx, Tim robbins or jeff bridges as Gordon, Morgan freeman as Alyx father, Harrison ford as G-man...

maybe?

lol, not sure about that.

i always thought keanu reeves with a goatee would make a good gordon. that bloke who played cancer man in x-files would make a decent g-man. i guess morgan freeman would be a good eli vance, angelina jolie as alyx. robert culp - guy who did the voice - as dr breen. sven goran eriksson as dr kleiner. my old logic tutor from college as father grigory

I think Tim Robbins would be excellent as Gordon. He just needs to lose a few pounds.

Keanu Reeves can fuck right off, he's got about the same acting skills as a piece of toast.

Jessica Alba as Alyx.

Oh, and Gary Oldman as G-man.

Hasn't he got the hint with the last 3 game-to-movie films he has made that have BOMBED to STAY AWAY FROM GAMES.

Presumably, if he's still making films, either he's got hella financial backing or his films make some money.

he gets moderate amounts of cash from european investors and tries to give them the returns he promised.

those returns are mostly from dvd sales - if everyone who, quite rightly, hates what he does with films just didn't buy them, then it might make an impact - but there'll always be a large number of completist idiots that buy the dvd even though they hate it and bitch about it online.

*not illegally downloading shit films is killing cinema! *

similar to paul anderson - both very good at pitching for investment, but unlike paul anderson (who's shown he's got talent but is too cynical to risk using it), uwe boll couldn't direct marbles down a greased pipe.

Agreed. House Of the Dead was so bad its not been released in the UK, and Alone In The Dark may not even come out over here...

Paul Anderson had a nice shining moment with Event Horizon, that was a great flick... Shame he made AvP like Wrestlemania 37...
