What's funny he that he continually rants about the police checking up on him... but in hindsight they were fully justified in keeping a close eye on him.

Some time in the middle of last night I had a waking illusion, I woke up, and while fully conscious (well, maybe not fully, but enough the realize what was going on) I saw a dog in my room. I knew immediately it was an illusion, and I just waited for it to dissolve as I further awoke. I have these type of illusions frequently, but always when I am half asleep or half awake. They intrigue me. They are manisfestations of my mind, and yet what isn't? They make me realize that everything I see, feel, hear, and smell, are all manisfestations of my mind. The only, and important, difference is that when I am fully awake the manisfestations are triggered by on external stimulus. But everything I experience is still just an illusion loosely based on the "real" world. A "Matrix" world is not only possible, but technically very feasable. All one would have to do is proivide the brain with "hints" and it will do the rest. Am I dreaming such a dream now? Am I?

Yea, that all happened right next door to my hometown. The national coverage you are seeing (if you watch MSNBC) is usually done by our local NBC affiliate...
The girls mother, mother's boyfriend, and older brother were all killed execution style a few months ago, it was all over the national news. The two kids vanished, now she shows back up with a sex offender.

Crazy stuff.

Well, futher interviews with the girl make it look like he was the guy who tied up the family and bludgeoned them to death while taking the two kids. The brother is dead, his remains found in a state park in western montana (they haven't verified the remains they found there are his, but there is really no doubt). The guy is looking at the death penalty. Also, according to the girl, he was abusing her from the time he took them, almost 7 weeks ago.

I hope he doesn't make it long enough to get his death penalty, TBH. I'm guessing pedos and child killers don't do well in maximum security prisons...

Typical case of a level III sex offender, whom everyone knows will re-offend, doing it.

Sometimes I feel that molestation and rape, especially to a girl that age, is worse than murder. Combined that with the fact that she probably knew that this guy molesting her is responsible for murdering over half of her family, and it's just fucked up beyond comprehension. She's alive right now, but she'll have to live with this for the rest of her life. I wish there was something worse than the death penalty for him.
