Constitutions aren't the problem. Official Q3W EU Constitution Voting Behaviour Thread
Yes, actually that's exactly it - it's bloody hard to find reliable, neutral information on it. I got my ideas by talking to friends, collegaues and reading the newspapers, but obviously all are quite unreliable sources since everyone's picked a side
Got a link for that proposal thing? I'll read it during my lunch break :P
EDIT: it seems i type slowly. Thanks doc.

Does this smiley mean that you bitterly agree with Geebs or that you find this sentence mildy amusing or that you're a bloody useless limey?Don Carlos wrote::icon26:Geebs wrote:......is one of the most poverty-stricken and generally unemployed bits of western europesaturn wrote:Ireland on the other hand....
The bible's been around for 2000 years and people are still taking the original text either too literally or out of context. You guys have had 300 years, so I wouldn't hold my breath on that one :icon25:Dave wrote:Geebs wrote:Constitutions aren't the problem. Yeah, I've discussed this with a few friends of mine and everybody seemed to have picked up something about the constitution that's clearly not true.Ryoki wrote:Yes, actually that's exactly it - it's bloody hard to find reliable, neutral information on it. I've read a bit about it a few months ago and decided that it was in the best of Europe. I already love how I can drive to French and Spain in a few hours without showing my passport and how our academic hospital (especially the anesthesiology department) is filled with great doctors from out the whole EU.

The UK would be better off out of the Euro wank pool
It does nothing but fuck us over
if you have followed the discussions you'd know that a lot of politicians are against the constitution. I know your comment's supposed to be humerous, but voting against cause someone says you need to vote yes sounds like a puberty thing.MKJ wrote:i cant vote () but i'd vote no. for multiple reasons, but if i didnt have any other itd be cause the politicians are so determined to get everyone to vote yes that something must be wrong somewhere
Just go voting, whether it's no or yes.

Yeah, just assume that the EU is fucking you all over and don't start thinking for yourself.Don Carlos wrote:Its true Dutch0, Ireland is nice, but crap.saturn wrote:Does this smiley mean that you bitterly agree with Geebs or that you find this sentence mildy amusing or that you're a bloody useless limey?Don Carlos wrote: :icon26:

I merely added Ireland for fun, but they're better integrated than the Brits who still think that Britannia rules the seven seas.
i know sir. what i meant was, if all the highups are benefitting so mch as they claim they do, that means other people wont - especially in oversocialist dutcheeland.saturn wrote:if you have followed the discussions you'd know that a lot of politicians are against the constitution. i dont trust balkende nor chirac
but i got a ton of other reasons though, most of them pointing (again) at our socialistic and perhaps too tolerant culture

I wouldn't trust Chirac either, but they haven't written this constitution. It's about Europe and for Europe.MKJ wrote:i know sir. what i meant was, if all the highups are benefitting so mch as they claim they do, that means other people wont - especially in oversocialist dutcheeland.saturn wrote:if you have followed the discussions you'd know that a lot of politicians are against the constitution. lol, if you want to oppose the (already dwindling down) socialism and the tolerance, you'd better join a political party instead of voting no. Like that Peter R. de Vries party, ROFL. You know that tolerance and free-thinking have resulted in clear abortion laws, marriage for h0m0s, so feel free to break that down so Ryoki will feel

heh i wasnt insinuating we should *get rid of all the foreigners* and all that crap. im all for progressive thinking. problem is that in a case like this, duthceeland will prolly end up compensating for lack of economy in the east and demolish all those free-thinking ideas because 60% of europe opposes to them.
so im not opposing the socialism, im more worried of what it might do to the ducthoos when used on a bigger scale

reminder: we keep our national laws about abortion, softdrugs which the EU won't involve.MKJ wrote:heh i wasnt insinuating we should *get rid of all the foreigners* and all that crap. im all for progressive thinking. problem is that in a case like this, duthceeland will prolly end up compensating for lack of economy in the east and demolish all those free-thinking ideas because 60% of europe opposes to them.
The European Constitution is about European matters.
But true, it's crap that Holland pays the biggest contribution per head to the EU.
