Silicone_Milk: yes you can use bumpmaps with Q3Map2, but your bumpmap must be crazy high-contrast and your lightmaps have to be pretty high-res in order to get any useful effect

if you set dsitinfx as your lightimage then you should be able to use dsiglass_checker as your editorimage without issue?

or maybe I'm misunderstanding, it's literally been 5+ years since I wrote a Q3 shader

honestly doing what Obsidian described, separating the "media volume" (hey it is a brush inside the bounds of which one may swim) functionality of water from the visual surface quality, that is really the best course of action watercaulk brush to define the media volume, then just create ...

those look pretty cool but that one light metal trim texture of ydnar's looks pretty out of place
