I have these weird dreams lately where I am in this weird half-awake/half-asleep situation...in the dream something godawful might be happening, like I am drowning or whatever or some shit, and I am aware that I am dreaming and need to wake up, but I can't get myself to wake up...I consciously lay t...

It's not too small for me now, and we have another car that would be fine for the kids. I took a test drive and they were by no means gutless as is. I like the looks of them, and compared to my old Talon that I had before my Subaru, the back seats are much roomier. As for the price, they aren't that...

I'm considering getting one...but, the problem is you are only finding new ones right now, and regardless of what car you buy, getting a brand new model is like flushing money down the shitter. Plus, although we don't have kids ATM, kids and a 2-door coupe are a real pain in the ass. THey don't quit...

World of Warcraft questions
Never played an MMORPG before, never really interested because it seemed like all of them required about 100+ hours of gameplay before your character was strong enough to kill a mouse without getting your ass kicked... People have told me that WoW is different - that it is a game that is fun to play...

Pirates. It is great once you pick up on some of the smaller intracacies..like continually sending pirate raiders to a filthy French capital again and again to weaken its troop numbers, then go in and raid it yourself after that. Beat it, it's really really good, but could have been even better. Re...

Question for people who might understand the intricacies of these two nations relationship better than I -
What prevents them from being allies - especially in this day and age?

I'm looking at a tc (the coupe) with the optional supercharger. Going to the dealership tomorrow to take a looksie. I will be looking for pre-owned (or last years model) though, because buying a brand new car is like flushing money down the toilet....although, these things aren't very expensive to b...

Skeptic - the magazine
If you have never read this magazine (I hadn't until recently), check it out. There is some wacky shit in there, but there is an editorial on the politicization of science by the Bush administration in the last issue that makes buying that issue more than worth it. Some really interesting stuff all ...

But the ending was inexusable. To put you through that many hours of gameplay for an ending that leaves no real answers is a joke. They could have still left things open for HL3 while giving you some cool shit to reward the effort. I totally disagree. I totally disagree with your total disagreement...

The ending sucked, but the gameplay lived up to all the hype. The gameplay was great - the physics phenomenal, the voice acting good, etc. There are a few moments in the game that I will remember as some of the most memorable of any game I've ever played - for example when I was in the little skim b...

I didn't realize they were Toyotas until I saw one at an auto show today. I believe it is a sort of replacement for the Celica GT?
Anybody driven one? If so, thoughts?

That looks interesting, it could be already extinct but it looks like it's extremly well preserved. A dna test would show exactly what type of animal it is. Just looked like a fossilized skeletal fragment to me...unlikely for there to be much DNA (if any) to work with if that is the case. C-14 dati...
