Re: Can we clean this up a bit?
I'll take a look at it this weekend and prune what we don't need. I will say, however, folks within the servers I play on have been showing a lot of interest in mapping and I have linked them to the forum stickies here to help them learn. So in short, the stickies will stay, but will obviously get p...

Re: So what’s happened these last 25 years?
It's something us non-poorians can afford If I could ever get time off to enjoy said vacation, that would be great. Constantly working 6 day work week, with the occasional sporatic multi-day off (usually never 2-in a row) which happens about once every 5 or 6 months. In my line of work it seems to ...

Re: Install 2 or 4 sticks of RAM DDR5 5600MHz/6000MHz
I would go with the 2x32 Corsair sticks, better speed and also less hassle. The plus side, less space being taken inside your box also, if a stick goes bad, you only have to check/test 2 of them instead of 4.

Re: Hello again my fellow LEM gremlins! (rrctf4 beta)
OMG, this sure is a blast from the past. Not that it will make any difference, but, I am now working on this again. No idea when it will get finished though as I work 6 days a week and the one day I do have off, I tend to sleep most of it as I get crap rest during the rest of the week. There is sooo...

Re: Q3W Game Server
I also have a server up and running CTF maps for those that are into CTF games.
server ip: 64.31.28.171:27960
This is also running unlagged, q3plus is the mod it's sporting. There are some custom maps on there, all of which can be had from .:LvL:.

Re: DEVOCTF1 - Forgotten CTF
definately a different twist to an old classic ffa map. I ran around on it through lvl's 'preview'. Obivously doing it that way isn't *exactly* the same as when playing it locally, but it does allow one to try and find the 'secret' lol. Btw, the devo link leads me no-where so not sure what is up wit...

Re: Foo3DM4 - Gloves Off
Jumped around in this for a bit and had some fun. Have to admit, since I am not much into ffa or tourney, this seems good for tourney more than ffa. But there again, since I don't play either of those modes much, take it with grain of salt :tard:

Re: Q3map2 x64 source code
Gotcha. Well, I will say that currently, I have not run into any problems using the 64bit version of q3map2.
Edit: also have to say that I am using 64bit q3map2 for quake3. Also, what are you doing that is causing 64bit q3map2 to not work for you when compiling a quake3 map?

Re: Q3map2 x64 source code
It would be alot of work, possibly, but why not edit the 32bit source code and change the 'int' and 'long' and some of the other essentials and port it to 64bit?

Re: Q3map2 x64 source code
from what I saw in earlier posts of this topic, I noticed you said you were using vs originally and from the looks of the build output you have shown directly above, it looks like vs. Do you have all the source for this? I have a follow up question if you do

Re: What are you working on?
Is there a link to this somewhere? I joined a Discord called Polygon Junkies recently but IDK if that's the same thing. Good to see you lurking about Pat, been a long time. Surprisingly, things are getting more active in LEM on the discord and such. I hope to churn out a map at some point before en...

Overview of level editors When I was getting back into mapping recently I scanned around but couldn't find clear information on what editor should be used in <current year>. This stuff was a bit confusing and I just wanted a clear steer on what's relevant today. So here's what I found:..... Good st...

It ha sbeen quite a while since I have done any Q3 mapping but if memory serves me correctly, Q3Build or Q3map2Toolz is what you'll want to use to create your AAS.
