I just ré-install Q3 after 10 years and i don't have anymore files or maps from the old time.

If someone still have this pk3 file, i would be please to have it.

Simple, does guys that have been on top of the pro qualification, are afraid to loose there popularity...if they play again and loose...everybody will forget them, but now they are in a way of speaking...( legendary ) peoples will never forget them for how they use to play...but if they make a come-...

I create another pbcl.cfg from scratch with notepad , tried it and it work...don't ask me why the other one didnt work....i don't know since i copy/paste all the same thing....

My son is having problem with his pbcl.cfg file...i don't know why cause i have the same file into my PB folder and never add any problem connecting to a punkbuster server. But if i put the pbcl.cfg file into his PB folder the game crash !!! the only way he is able to play PB server is without this ...

what system are you running it on? I don't know that mine would handle it but I'd like to check it out. AMD 64 2.2Ghz 1 gb ram bfg 6800Gt oc 256 would it run it on medium/low? On low with youre config, but there a lots of tweaks that can turn youre game into almost high quality with no lost of FPS....

Go into youre baseq3 folder located:
C:\Program Files\Quake III Arena\baseq3
and open pak0.pk3, with winrar --------------open \menu\medals
and you will find what you want...

Ive enjoyed watching the game on youtube and found that this game has mad movement, crazier than ut's. I've never been a real fan about those original army games like cod and battlefield, so i come to these games. I know ill get owned in the first few weeks of this game but hey...isn't that how all...

Load up CPMA mod to practice with bots...CPMA bots are harder then normal... There are some new bots as well, with slightly better strategic play and some "personal" properties. They can only be used at skill 6 and above (CPMA AI). Apheleon * faster than all other bots * has improved RL * ...

Ya i think lots of peoples play quake on previous version, that way they don't need a legit copy to play...

By the way i use the same name when i play...

Just get ASE (all-seeing eye) and you will find lots of good server...

Yeah, is there a command line to disable the taunt from the player not the bots?
Cause there some players that everytime they die, do the taunt sound...

Try that for youre widescreen:
seta r_customHeight "1050"
seta r_customWidth "1680"
seta r_mode "-1"

and don't forget to do a vid_restart.
