Long time no see. I've been playing Quake Live for the passed couple years and want to get back with ProMode. I'm not sure what I need to get into servers since I keep getting errors. Let's see, I was never into Q1 or Q2, but played Hexen. Picked up Quake 3 for PS2 when it was first released. Got into strafing and stuff freshman year of high school after a friend told me about it. Didn't play much for a few years until 2005/2006 where I wanted to start getting better at the game....

Just buy used copies (if you can) and trade them in like that.

Definitely can't wait for this. Hopefully it won't require TOO much of a performance upgrade. Doom 3 broke the barrier first, so we might expect something..

So what are people using seeing how the ASE isn't around anymore. I'm trying to play CPMA, and nothing is connecting.

I know this isn't coding material, but playing in a Promode private server, I'm just getting 95 - 99 lag with just the default config running. What can I change or add to say drop the lag, and add any performance commands to help.

So I guess you need to have a legit key for it to work? Yes or no? It's a hard process to get it working.

Are there any out there? Skirmish mods?

Well, I changed foremodel and added enemy model, enemy model didn't work, and now old rocket and plasma aren't working either. I'm not seeing my field of view neither.
