have you tried the Sidrial mod for Q3? it's probably the closest you can ever get to TU's theme.

problem fixed!
Folks, just like I said, I was missing a very basic thing here. It turned out the map path is case sensitive, and I just had to rename it from:
'C:\Program Files\id Software\Quake 4\q4base\Maps'
to:
'C:\Program Files\id Software\Quake 4\q4base\maps'
I kinda feel ashamed now hehe :icon30:

Q4 ed inserts 'maps/' at beginning of map path
I followed the basic room tut for Q4, my map has the info_player_start and everything... What's really strange is that I've installed Quake 4 on 3 different PCs, and I still have the same issue, so I guess I'm missing some really basic point. Yet I've looked everywhere from Q4 fan sites to the Q4SDK...
