i ran the demo again using my so called highquality-for-benchmarking config

got 44.58 fps

@ 1024, high, multisample 4, aniso 8

i got 67.3fps using the ggl demo

barton 2500 @2.2ghz
1gb ram
6600gt stock speeds (latest drivers)
