As far as it effecting Stats Tracking. I gues it depends on the parser. MaxStats for Q4Max filters them out perfectly.

I voted baseq4 - there's already enough for noobs to have to deal with without adding mods into the mix. Just add the better custom maps, allow gametype voting and call it a day (for now). Those problems are a thing of the past. Mods download to the client machine just as easily as the maps do. Ahh...

Post-1.2 Checklist: -server crashing -female models (what a slap in the face!) -water & swimming animations/sounds -lava (one would think you guys would be ALL over water and lava - especially with all the lighting capabilities in the engine) -radical gameplay fixes, i.e. weapons/ammo tweaks th...

Anthony has helped me quite a bit on the Q4Max forums. He's a good guy.

An 073b with JUST the change to get us working on 1.2 would've ruled though. :)

Q4MaxStats is AWESOME for Stats. But it requires you to be running Q4Max to work (Which is a KILLER mod). Click here to see our stats There was a guy that wrote a client side stats program called Q4Whore and he sent me an email at one point saying he was working on Server Side stats now but the webs...

Sync probably came this way due to the overwhelming amount of negativity engulfing ESReality's Q4 forum these days. It's just plain terrible over there. It's almost as if all the Q3 and QW folks conspired together to go in there and toss around as much negative feedback as possible. There's nothing ...

Syncerror's posted on ESReality that the problem's been fixed BUT as per usual, it's going through the sluggish QA process. :( This patch will be EXACTLY like 1.1 was but with the fixed Widescreen stuff and they're calling it 1.2. The one that may actualyl see some game changes is now 1.3 which they...

Rename the pbsv.cfg to pbsv.dat and keep it read only. That's how mine is. Jagou: Thanks a ton for the compliments! We have a 2nd server on the way that will be unlike ANYTHING in the Q4 community currently. I hope it takes off. :) POSSIBLY debuting this weekend but not 100% on that. About the Serve...

We have the server messages set up on our server and here's how we did it (Instructions courtesy of Shadrac from http://www.thefrostzone.com): Before I paste his info, I should point out that 1. The name of the file FOR ME was pbsv.dat, not .cfg. Also, once I had all the messages in there I wanted, ...

So it wasn't that you didn't LIKE it, it was that your machine couldn't run it. I will agree, it's got some pretty stiff requirements.
