Now we need a coder/scripter to add the other stuff.

1 - Splash damage. Makes it far too easy to hurt or even detect him by spamming rockets/grenades
2 - Ammo levels are far too high. You can easily pick up lots of boxes of ammo and start blasing everywhere in Quake 3
3 - Maps are far too small and too much connected. They're designed for deathmatch. Not for a hide and seek game.
4 - Gameplay speed is far too high. It doesn't create tension. It would still be a run and gun type of game. Gameplay like Urban Terror would be a far better starting point than vanilla Quake 3.

hidden effect and completely invisible is quite a difference reef.

re-read my ideas again eraser...already been discussed and fixed.
We are not using rockets..only grenades,MG and shotty.
The levels will have no pickup..think osp CA.
There are hundred of maps out there... and we might even get someone to make 1-2 custom made maps for this gametype.
We can set speed for blue team and red team.. hidden should ofcourse be faster than blue team.
You cannot make it 100% invisible, it needs to be barley see. You need to make the gun invisible and remove the shadow. But at least there is some progress.
Slow speed is a big factor, you also need to have shadows for the maps so the hidden can hide.

Of course. The technology is far more advanced than Quake and the gameplay would suit it.
You have the shadows, the weapon set, the fact this kind of thing can be done by a script kiddie, and then the bigger fact that you can apply a program to the player/weapon skin so that it distorts just like in HL2.
I will altough offer to make all the maps, and models. Like I said I haven't been doing this for long, but I am learning a lot quick from obsidian who is one hell of a scripter. I have made a load of maps I just have never released them. So I can put out 4 or 5 quality custom maps this week for the mod if needed.
So here is my offer
1. You will have to find someone else to code the mod because I don't feel I am proficent enough to get the job done in a reasonable time frame. Also the coder will have to remove the models shadow mod side.
2. I have already made a male and female hunted model and I will finish the gauntlet. I will also adjust the transparancy of the models so they are slightly more visible if needed and I will make all the hunter models useing the doom model as the bassis and I will also do the same with the crash model in case some girls want to join and play.
3. I will make some custom maps for the mod as well and I will try to keep a balance of looks and r speds and frame rate in mind.

You could have spent a second to look at the docs how to do it. Ufreeze has very nice features that no other mod has and is it the best Freeze Tag mod for Q3 hands down. Hunt mode should work fine.
OK, here are the hunter models. I called the male venator wich is latin for hunter and the female fevenator. Like the hunted models Phantom and Spirit they are also bots as well and pickable as a model or bot from the ingame menues. They are all a bit more skilled and better decision makers than the average bot. The hunters also favor the SG, GL, MG in that order.
