The idea of doing a remake of anything is not wrong; the trouble is Hollywood continue to prove that they have absolutely no fucking idea how to do one that isn't shit. Most of the time they can hardly even muster a sequel that isn't pale in comparison to the original. People continue to ignore reviews and buy Hollywood's shit. Until people realise that if reviewers are saying something stinks, it most likely stinks and they should not pay to sniff at it, Hollywood will continue to churn out the shit and films will only get stinkier and stinkier. Stuff is supposed to be improved as time goes on, not made progressively worse and worse.
