very pretty, and real-time editing is a cool feature (i think the cryeditor 2 had this as well). compiling static lightmaps and BSP and all that shit is so 10 years ago (yet valve continue to do it)

Too bad the fog was full of banding. Or is that just the screen I'm using?

The thing that impressed me most was the editor and the thing shown in the second video on that page (right at the end) where he clicks the player object, hits some key and that opens up Visual Studio with the correct code file loaded and he can make changes and compile it without having to reload the game or editor. That is some mighty impressive stuff.

Havnt used the Cryeditor but Unity also has real time editing ?, thats been about for quite some time and tis a quality feature to have, what you see is what you get instead of compiling, reworking and compiling again. This does look rather purdy though, like you said, its prolly gonna be harder to make a game that doesnt suck in it lol

To be honest, Serious Sam's editor had real time in-engine editing, so it's not that new. But the Kismet scripting is pretty cool the way it's visualized in the editor
