Hi, sorry for the retarded question. I haven't played Q3 in years and I can't remember how to get my name to be black properly anymore.

Neither ^0 or ^8 work for me, they just make the text white.

If I use ^^0 it makes my name black but with a white '^' in front of it, but I can't find a way to just get everything black.

I'd assume you looked for that, but it also has link to a name changer which might help.

The only way that you can have a black name is if your playing the Osp or Cpma mod. \name ^0Name

If you use ^0 in the normal Q3A, it only turns black in the console.

Ah ok I didn't realise it only worked with certain mods, thanks for the replies!

Thanks, but the name changer doesn't work as I'm on Mac ;)
