About bloody time I say.

Should a) provide a convincing argument against DRM and b) totally destroy the inflated market in old classics. Plus everything costs less than the average iPhone game.
Pity it's just interplay and codemasters at the moment though, have been buying games in the hope that the site succeeds and builds a bigger library

So basically they're selling 10 year old games wrapped in a shiny foil. Pretty.

I lost my Fallout 2 CD in an unfortunate vacuuming accident.
This website is good thing.

What, wrapped in a shiny foil of "working properly under modern operating systems"?.

This is also coming from Mr. Nintendo Fanboy #1, who has presumably bought Mario World on six different platforms by now, at full retail price :p

heh, you're right. Partly at least :p
I didn't check the website thoroughly enough to realise they did something to the games to make them work on modern systems. That is a good service.
With PC games you never know how long they'll last though.

oh, and: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=38244 ;)

After getting my key and checking out their library, it is really small at the moment. The Fallout games are awesome, but I want something good that I've never played before.

So far I've picked up the Fallouts, Freespace 2, MDK. I agree, I'd like to see a bigger selection.

Some of them use dosbox and similar programs to 'workaround' working on XP and Vista. I can already do that.

Yeah, but I've tried dosbox before and it's a massive fag to deal with. Speaking of good old games, having played through a bit of fallout 2, fallout 3 is bound to be a disappointment. Bethesda really don't have either the sense of humour or the ability with plotting of Black Isle

*punches rat in the groin*

Descent 1 & 2 - $6 - purely for nostalgia...gonna load it up on the laptop later and smash some gaming on the go in evening! Genuiely excited as this game was one of the first I played on LAN as a youngster. Awesomeness awaits despite how shocking it will look
