It's a virus. They mutate. Nothing to see here on that front. The things that are fucking us is looking at pictures in London where people are rammed into Oxford Street and are milling about on the tubes.
I am fully expecting to be locked down for Christmas in Wales.
You can think whatever makes you feel better. I can say "most of the people" in Canada understand masks and vaccines are important, but even in the most liberal part of the country, the far-right anti-mask protesters make up a significant part of the population.
For every nurse or doctor who commits their life to saving others, 10 selfish assholes will cough all over each other in a church and spread misinformation in protest when their bars close at 10pm instead of 11pm.
I see your point. I just think you over-estimate it.
It is true that some fucks in Germany go to the streets to protest against what they think (or make up to be) is a dictatorship.
They are a really loud but really small minority. They are a nuisance. Nothing more.
Edit: Parts of the movement will now be watched by our kind of Homeland Security. Parts of the movement are infiltrated by far-right-influencers.

Couldn't care less about the shops but it kind of sucks to have to home school the kids again.
I forget if you're from the netherlands but if so...
Yes I am and yes we are.
But honestly, apart from primary schools closing, I haven't been too bothered by any of the measures taken all year. Sure, I haven't been out dining at restaurants. I haven't gone out see a movie in theaters. I have had periods where I couldn't practice with my band. I had to cancel a motorcycle trackday. There has been a time where my daughter couldn't go to her dancing class and my son couldn't go to swimming lessons. All nuisances, but relatively minor ones. Maybe I'm just lucky, but I could keep going like that for the next five years and never question my mental well being

Wasn’t my point but it is displaying an higher R rate.
This is what happens when you have a fucking moron at the helm. A : Business man" in control during a pandemic worries about business, not the people.
Alexander also argued that colleges should stay open to allow Covid-19 infections to spread, lamenting in a July 27 email to Centers for Disease Control Director Robert Redfield that “we essentially took off the battlefield the most potent weapon we had...younger healthy people, children, teens, young people who we needed to fastly [sic] infect themselves, spread it around, develop immunity, and help stop the spread.
They would rather see your kids dead than watch businesses struggle, not to mention the lingering effects of the disease would have on them. Fantastic. Anyone that supported Trump really needs to hang their heads in shame. The world would be better off without the 70 million or so Americans that voted for that fool.
It's probably going to become a part of the common cold that goes around each year. There are a few strains of coronaviruses that make up the common cold, and as Covid-19 mutates it will probably be added to the list and never really go away completely. Although there have been recent advances in making an antivirus that can kill all strains of the common cold, so there's that to hope for.

I seen people say this. Along the lines of, this will be like the flu, we’ll have it every year. But I haven’t seen any experts saying this. Do you have any legitimate sources for this claim?
