My son is kind of like me when it comes to music. He likes a wide range of artists from 80's rock on up to today's hip hop. So who knows. Whatever it is, it's going to sound great.

Cookie monster music. No thanks.
Re: What is new in your little world?
That turned out nice. Lucky kid. I would’ve killed to have a system like that when I was young.

Damn, beautiful setup YourGrandpa, well done.
Re: What is new in your little world?
Minor kitchen renovations underway. What fun
This follows on from the works on the hot water service/system. You remember
The air conditioning is getting renovated too next week.
Did I mention we swapped our bathroom shower screens out for new the frameless style too?

Having fun in a couple of ways
Firstly the Lego train is great fun to build. I am a Technic fan and still undecided if I will venture further in the Lego train world.
Here’s a speed build of my set
Oh, and the air conditioning works continue and here's a picture of the old and new valves we're replacing. On the left is the original and plastic model where 'motors' have failed and just could have gone out of round shape over the years. The new parts are of metal construction and more rigid. Only problem with the works is that we are cutting 4 holes in the plasterboard ceiling to access these more easily which means dust and more dust then plastering and painting and soon I hope.
Apologies for the cheap and nasty shots taken by my mobile. I am still learning to drive it

I keep looking at my kitchen thinking I really need to renovate it, so much hassle
Re: What is new in your little world?
Agreed. A real pain but we must do it mustn't we.PhoeniX wrote:I keep looking at my kitchen thinking I really need to renovate it, so much hassle
Here we changed cupboard doors to roll out drawers and that is so much better all 'round. Only trouble is, we now see some panels that appear faded and that makes the job not quite right.
I guess we'll get the cabinet maker back for a look and ask he quote. Shouldn't be much as we won't need change appliances, sinks or bench-top. Still I cross my fingers

Feeling for you and your very close friend. Too young at 45.
Nice pictures of the event. How many motorcycles were there?

This thread has gone so gay that the shit I'm currently taking is coming out rainbow...
Re: What is new in your little world?
I may be in the market for a new bike soon... Although the dirt bike is good exercise it doesn't really provide much cardio. It's been so long I'm not even sure what's a good brand these days, I've never even heard of Orange bikes!Doombrain wrote:Back OT...

Orange make killer guitar amps. Different Orange probably
Re: What is new in your little world?
Handmade British bikes. They have started setting in the US and Canada. Simple pivot design, high quality and built to last.

Re: What is new in your little world?
Sold the 5 years ago and bought a 4. RX9 is a winter/midweek bike
Re: What is new in your little world?
I'd quite like to get into mountain biking.. we hired some bikes on holiday a few months back and it was great fun, though having not ridden a bike for about 15 years I did nearly kill myself.
Where do you find routes etc you can ride? I'm in Derbyshire, I have the whole of the Peak District on my doorstep.
Ideally would need a bike that could collapse into a hatchback also, which might be tricky.

Re: What is new in your little world?
I replaced the factory seats with new Mustang vintage wide solo and pillion seats. Hopefully this helps/fixes the issues with sore ass after 100+ mile straight rides.

Re: What is new in your little world?
That pillion seat looks like you'll slide right off the back.
Re: What is new in your little world?
I had it over three years. They take a kicking and I wanted something a little more playful.seremtan wrote:eh? you only bought it a few years agoDoombrain wrote:Sold the 5 years ago
