Feature request: when someone is on your ignore list, don't let their posts mark threads as unread.

MKJ, you added the drop down with page numbers at the bottom of the thread view, right? Can you add a good sized "Last page" link or button that only shows if you're not on the last page?

I often use the red-arrow-link on the forum view to go to the first unread post. Sometimes that brings me to the second-to-last page, and it's not always easy to see if you're on the last page or not.

I suspect that's probably a data problem, and not that easy to fix if at all possible. I've noticed the same behaviour as well, but there's a pattern. It only seems to happen on very large threads where some number of posts have been deleted. It may be getting confused with post counts, about total number of posts vs. those that you've not read.

Not sure you understand. Getting to the 2nd to last page is because that's where the first unread post is, so it's correct behavior. Only thing is that I'm too thick to notice I'm not on the last page so I close the thread before reading the remaining posts.

Having said that, though, a "next page" link that shows on all pages except the last would be better than a "last page" link.

I don't have any feature suggestion but I have noticed a weird thing. Since my chromes saves User ID and Passwords for any site I visit and register, so I don't bother checking them sometimes if I am logged in upon entering that link or not.

Anyway, I visited this forum an hour or two ago, I was not signed in, checked the threads, posted replies but replies weren't visible.

So may be a feature or notification should be added that can aware the user that the page you're entering comment at is not signed in, as I did not get any notification or a display badge.

yes, persistent login broke after we switched nameservers. We're trying to fix it but it doesn't seem as simple as one might think.
