I say completed, it just fucking stops, where's the rest of it? Is there DLC where this 'Cross' guy is going to be hiding down a sewer like Saddam Hussain?

Was really enjoying it until the credits rolled like the gaming equivalent of premature ejaculation. Had ignored/gotten past the minor technical problems, the often ugly textures, getting stuck on the scenery, the driving mini-game getting in the way of the campaign, invisible walls and inconsistent limitations on jumping, instantly dying/having to hit continue after a drop I could make in real life while safely holding a pint - and the fact that it was so easy that you could probably do the whole thing with wingsticks and a clenched fist.

Got past those things because it was mostly an excellent game. The characterisations were the best I've seen in recent memory, the UI, weapons, ammo and RPG-style collection/crafting were all easy and fun to use. The map design is places is downright gorgeous. It's by far the best corridor shooter I've played in years and had just enough elements from other genres to make it fresh.

But why was it so easy, and why doesn't it have an ending? :(

You do realize that you can still see black text on a non black background, right?

i fully agree 4days. i cant help but feel they lopped off the end for rage 2 or something. was going so well and then out of nowhere. END! what? huh?

they need to have a look at pacing and story progression again i think. i want more!

Totally agree 4days. Just finished it myself. Awesome game, loved every minute of it. But..

...So I got the biggest fucking weapon, all ready to use them for the biggest boss of the game.. Ready,...Set,... G...

...roll credits. The fuck?

I'm gonna have to go back in the game just to see what the BFG is like. What were they thinking, honestly. :dork:

Didn't you hear? id Software had this massive budget counter on the wall which ticked down to 0 and at one point the entire company except for the guys who were putting the last few buttons in there went "three... two... one.... aaaaaaand budget's gone!" so then they had to release it.
