I'm really looking for some tutorials on mapping outdoor, nature environments for things like rivers and lakes. I have no idea where to start due to the fact that radiant is useless with vertex editing. I can't begin to imagine how you would make outdoor scenes using only brushes and the clipper tool.

Hmm. Well I'm specifically working on a map for Quake 2 and I'm more specifically looking for information on acutally shaping the environment out :O. Is it possible to use the terragen for quake2?
