U can relax now... We're redoing the whole room... New furniture, decore, I painted, in process of putting up trim around Windows, dominating new computer and much more... The big reveal will come when the bed is finally delivered...

U virgins will finally get to see in full where the magic happens... Can u feel the excitement?!...

Where are the pics?

I redid the ceiling in my bedroom a few months ago. Put in a soffit for a tray with some accent lighting. I probably shouldn't post pics though because it would just make you angry.

here you go...
I put in 9 led cans and an led rope light. I wired them all up with wifi switches so I can have preset levels with a remote. Then I hung the Haiku smart fan.

uhh.. the ceiling is what i did myself who cares about the rest of the room? its square with two walk in's and a bathroom

also i don't need a custom wood haiku in a bedroom. it still has motion and temp sensing and i can control it with alexa or my phone. the white looks nice. don't be mad.

here is a shot from another angle, hard to capture it all because its a large room. As you can see the soffit comes out almost 2ft so having a dark ceiling really isnt that overdone.

halfway point

maybe next i will find some pictures of my mudroom that i remodeled.

My wife wants to remodel kitchen... Meh...I wanna convert the 3 car garage, laundry and bathroom into a master room/bath suite... Then add another driveway and build car port over where I converted that other room...

For the master, we got 775 sqft to work with... Also 9 foot ceilings... Could add some french doors in back which would open open close to pool. Could have a massive bathroom and lots of storage/walk-ins...

The kitchen... Not as much to work with and would end up doing a total upstairs remodel including adding new windows and doors and knocking out exterior walls etc... Fuck that...

ripping out walls sucks. so does plumbing. i ripped out a closet wall and relocated an outlet in my mud room so i could build custom lockers. turned out better than my ceiling

What sucks more is spending several weekends sanding down walls in three rooms because your friend decides they actually prefer the look of spray painted walls to rolled walls. The last few months of my life have been stripping wallpaper, sanding walls, waiting for plasterers' to reskimn the walls, sanding (keying) the plaster, undercoating the walls with three coats then sanding the undercoat back down to near plaster again in preparation for spraying instead >:(.

It's nearly complete though, and ultra, ultra smooth.
