They've just done mine too thanks to BDUK (broadband delivery UK). There's only about 500 people on the exchange and I only went for Infinity 1 - though according to the router it could easily max infinity 2 which was tempting.

Openreach messed up my installation though so I got BT to waive the fee. Bonus.

Hmm that doesn't seem right. You probably have grounds to force an investigation by Openreach if it's 50% of your quoted speed - I can't remember what the exact cut-off is for that. Usually their estimated speed checker errors on the side of caution as well. Assuming you have the homehub if you login to the router then go to Troubleshooting > Helpdesk what do you get?

Most importantly data rate, maximum data rate, noise margin and line/signal attenuation.

Mine:

Code:
1. Product name:   BT Home Hub
3. Firmware version:   Software version 4.7.5.1.83.8.204.1.11 (Type A) Last updated 13/09/15
4. Board version:   BT Hub 5A
5. DSL uptime:   14 days, 22:48:45
6. Data rate:   9999 / 39993
7. Maximum data rate:   39184 / 105362
8. Noise margin:   31.0 / 26.5
9. Line attenuation:   16.1 / 13.7
10. Signal attenuation:   15.8 / 13.7
11. Data sent/received:   5.7 GB / 42.4 GB
12. Broadband username:   bthomehub@btbroadband.com
13. BT Wi-fi:   Yes

Strange how Time Warner's "ultimate" package is only 50Mbps yet you're getting ~350Mbps. :clownboat:

Xfinity (Comcast)... not bad, but we get hellacious lags sometimes before connecting to sites... probably due to getting routed through NSA servers so the government can track us :paranoid:

It's most probably your DNS servers. Switch to using Google and/or OpenDNS's ones:

https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/?hl=en
https://use.opendns.com/

Also try unchecking "automatically detect settings" in Internet explorer > internet options > connections > LAN. Even if you use Chrome it uses this under the hood I believe. Having that on always causes me problems.
