Just about to book a villa in Puerto Vallarta on New years Eve for a week. 4 bedrooms(actually 5 but one is staff quarters) 5 baths, gated community to keep the Mexicans out... Full staff... Make meals, clean, massages, happy endings etc... On beach... 6 minutes from night life... Car provided... Jellus?...

I have visited another 2 new car showrooms and find it interesting at the sales tactics they use on personal interactions. Interesting in that some are hungry and will seem interested and actually follow up. When they do I ask the hard and technical questions that they really can't or shouldn't can't answer and promise to get back to you. Points if they do and I'll play some more... If they don't and they call too late I'll answer... "What was your name again and where are you from?"

:olo:

Short/long: Have a mind for a KIA GTLine but we're yet to look at a Subaru comparison :smirk:

Go VW, great little cars. Pretty happy with mine even though I supposedly don't own one.

So you're screwing with the sales people when they are and aren't being helpful? Sounds reasonable.

I kind of feel sorry for the sales person that has to put up with this nonsense just to sell a Kia.

Pretty much this, you can get a few good ones on a good day but on the whole they'll be serving themselves rather than the customer. It's not so much their fault either, but pressure from higher up to hits targets n shit force them to act in a particular manner. The best things you can do is do your own research on whatever it is youre thinking of buying.

nice.
I thought about an RV or possibly towing a camper but by the time you add it all up it didn't seems like there would be any cost benefit compared to just traveling light and staying in hotels. Plus camping with young kids sucks and so does driving huge vehicles through mountain passes. Maybe next time.

An RV trip with multiple people in close proximity sounds like torture. Never mind that most of those people are probably impatient, short attention spanned, have to pee every 5 minutes, always hungry, bored or sick young children. Fuck that.

GLHF.

Generator and bathroom functions while driving...2 Xboxes, nintendo switch, 4 tv's... Should be fine...

A 3 or 4 day trip on a cruise SHIP to tropical locations is worse than a 2 week haul across the dessert in a tin box with a bunch of screaming kids?

Moron alert.

Agreed. Dragging a bunch of screaming kids on a 2 week haul across the dessert in a tin box is terrible parenting.

Someone ban the moron.
