Or someone who is mistaken for taking pictures of kids.

Yeah I've actually witnessed that, I wasn't impressed. I was at a water park with my kids, other kids there too, and they were splashing about in the park. Some old pervy looking guy just walks right up, takes a pic and starts walking away... I was like fuck no.

So I walk up to the guy and demanded his phone, he insisted he didn't take any pics and wouldn't give it to me so I straight up told him if he didn't I was just going to take it. He handed me the phone, it was an old crappy 1st gen touch screen, no data enabled on it so I dropped the phone in a manhole after doing a factory reset and told him to fuck off. I swear if I see that guy again he's going to the hospital.

I was in a similar situation just some weeks ago. Germany, at the eastern sea's beach, out with my cousin`s kids. Sunny warm weather. Yet a guy in Khakis, jacket and backpack comes over and starts taking pictures of the "panorama" with a good camera. Lot's of families there.... kids, twens, the usual spectrum. And a sail cruise going on at the sea, the "panorama". I was very close to get up to him and mandate him to passing over his camera. I didn't in the end.
Maybe I should have. Watched that strange dude's behaviour very closely, though.

I had the same thought process. Mind you my kids and the other kids there were all in swimsuits. Anyone with any common sense knows you don't show up there without kids, let alone show up there and start taking pics of kids.

My thought process was more or less is he actually going to take a pic and once he did I could see the other parents looking at each other like, did he just do that? I waited for someone else to say something and when no one else did I decided I would.

The way I saw it, if I didn't, I'd probably regret not saying or doing anything down the road. So fuck being socially nice in that particular instance. The guy wasn't a threat to me, at all physically and I could tell by the other parents body language that if things did escalate they'd have my back.

After the confrontation a few of them came and thanked me.

Had it been a normal park and the kids being dressed normally I wouldn't have said or done anything. That guy deserved to lose his phone, I definitely feel no regret for doing it.

I think you did the right thing from your point of view. Whether it was justified or not, a court would have to decide. But if he doesn't call for it... (you'll) we'll never know.

Kracus is like that one kid in school who no one likes so he tries to make up ridiculous stories about things he's never done until that awkward kid who eats worms will be impressed.

In the end, one of two scenarios are possible. I've either done none of the things I've ever said or I've done them all. Schrodinger would probably say I've done both.

Which you believe isn't my concern.

Me, personally, I don't like talking BS, I'm honest. But on forums, I only take someone's core idea of a post to buid my opnion on.

No way getting me upset here, this is Q3W GD in 15,16,17 years, after all? Always been a lurker, contributor only for some years.
4chan might get me upset from time to time, not here.

I hate the Kia. It's going back tomorrow to be replaced with a 2012 BMW 320d M Sport ASAP.

Hope the BMW treats you better. Even you deserve better than a Kia SUV.

What KIA model was it again and what's the problem?

I ask because I was considering the brand if only for their 7 year warranty available here...

Neigh!

A friend of mine owns a horse (the gray one). Brushed the horse down, fitted her with a saddle and went riding. I learned to take the horse for a gallop and wear a dorky hunt cap. Did other farmsy stuff that would normally be incompatible with this city slicker. Was a good day.

FACT: horses have really floppy rubbery chins.

It's a kx4 sportage. It's getting 36mpg and just isn't very nice to drive. I'm used to a car that's fun and agile, this thing just isn't any of those things.

It did, that's why I didn't confront him in the end. Cause I wasn't sure. He looked really strange and out of place though. He, himself looked strange, the clothes he wore were much too warm for the weather, and the spot he choose to take his pictures from was..., well, I would have taken a spot on the nearby mole to take pictures of the yachts.
Like you say, he could have just as well been just a geeky, odd character from the local newspaper. All those things went through my head.

Or a bird spotter.
You know, people are getting so uptight about these things these days because they hear about paedophiles so much.

I was once confronted by a parent when I took my daughter to her swimming lessons. All the individual dressing cubicles (or whatever they're called) were taken so I took her into the shared dressing room. There's one of men and one for women, so I took her into the women's dressing room. There was a mother there who said I really shouldn't be in there. I was actually quite shocked that someone would take offense with me being in the women's dressing room while the only nude ones there were 5 year old girls. Besides, the only alternative would be to take my daughter into the men's room which, well, isnt exactly a solution.
If it was about adult or teen females it might've been different I guess but people are way, way too uptight when it comes to nudity.

Wow, yeah.

Maybe you should have been like 'well here's my kid, thanks, i'll wait for you outside' and then mumble 'bitch!'.
