i lived in dallas for a few years, and mom is sill in garland. went to ft. worth for the first time in Feb. its funny how different it is from dallas. i had no idea.

even went to the stock show :up:

I've never been to Dallas, but I assume my stereotypes fit quite well. I thought Houston was the only decent city in Texas.

houston is the armpit of the world brotha.
austin is cool, but was much better 15 years ago when the music scene was really alive.

Bingo. That whole hijacked angle only worked the first go-round. Even after the debacle that was the 2000 election, Bush's total failure at seeing 9-11 coming, his cowboy diplomacy in the middle east, and his crippling social and economic policies a slim majority of Americans voted for him anyway.
