I saved a document at college in the wrong format and the campus shuts over the weekend so I can't resave it. Is there any way to open a file made in 3d max 8 in 3ds 7?

Probably not. can't you just get Max 8?

Same as I want to export my Gmax stuff to Max8 but no, :E

ummm you could export it to ASE maybe and then convert it back to 3ds, or would that fuck shit up?
