You're not using portal skies are you?

Also, try func_group'ing those patches together.

Can you show us an editor screenshot of where the patches meet the sky brushes?

The sky portal uses lights of course, but you cant light your world from a light in the sky portal. Doesn't work that way.

Doesn't matter what I do, where I place my sky portal area, how i texture it etc etc this problem happens.

What happens is that my sky portals work perfectly, but it draws every particle effect in the level over it, and i cant understand why?

Any ideas?

vortex portal tele's were the shit. that shouldve been in all but a few maps IMO :icon14:

for some free sounds try wavcentral.com. most of it is crap but there are some gems to be found there. and you can always edit them in soundforge or summat to make it more like you want them to be
